I don't drive. I have my reasons. But I am embarrassed by it when people look at me weird when I tell them I don't drive. I don't bother people for rides.

Depends on where you are and where you need to be. Mo power to ya, if you can get away with it and still move out of your mom's basement before hitting middle age.

Don't worry about what others think, you have your reasons and that is all that matters. This world would probably be better off if less drove anyway. No, I'm not giving up my rides!

You really don't know what you are missing. Go buy a nice red convertible and ride with the top down on a nice county road.

I would go insane if I couldn't drive anymore. But I know quite a few people that don't drive. Most because of fears and some because they lost their license. Either way would suck because if you have to get someplace and there isn't anyone to drive you then what? Bundle up in the snow store to walk to get your meds when you're sicker than a dog? Scary... I'd rather be a scared driver than go through that!

I hate driving. When I move to the city I'm selling my car. I can listen to music at home and feel the wind in my hair while riding my bicycle. People are too preoccupied these days...it's dangerous and terrifying.

I dont drive either. Too f***ing expensive and my vision isnt great anyhow. Before I met my lve, guys treated me like I was a scrub because of it. Theyre just jealous b/c they can't jog a few miles without having a heart attack! Here I am: carless, IN SHAPE, and proud of my body and capabilities :)

Where I live there is NO public trans. If you live in a place that has decent public trans. then more power to ya. If not, I would be surprised if you don't go out of your mind..lol I am just kidding. It would be interesting to know your reasons though? Is it something that is hindering you in life? Maybe it is something that you can seek help for and in turn you could grow as a person..but really if it is a choice due to finances, environmental responsibility, or something of that sort, then be who you are... and good for you!

I'm 27 and I don't drive either. I have had recurring dreams in the past of horrible situations and I can't stop the car. I have driven but it scares me a lot, so i prefer to let my husband drive.

You people realy don't know what you are missing. The freedom of driving by yourself, listing to the music on a nice fall day like today with the sunroof open.... Ahhhh. Peace. It's not a thing to be afraid of.

No driving? 90 Year old grandma still drives her big white Cadillac. Try and take her keys away. She will chop something off.... You guys are missing out.
