I don't think love is a lie. I truly feel that we are meant to fall in love several times during our life. Sometimes we fall in lust..sometimes in love. I love to hear of those who make love last. I've never found the recipe and I've tried it twice. Now, I just want a real lover.....the love will be a bonus but not a requirement. Good luck to you. Love is worth the wait.

It's not that love is a lie; it's just everybody views love in a different way, and love means different things to everybody. For example, married people who cheat on their spouses often swear up and down that they love them. Go figure.

^i've loved someone for a couple of years now, and i am sure he loves me. he has come to understand all of my imperfections, many. you know what, we never ever said it out loud. it's the most amazing love i ever felt. i have learned it's the peoples actions that show true love. please know it's out there. its friendship, its sex, its debating.....its fun;)

Initially, love is no lie. It becomes a lie when the relationship falters. That does not make love a lie. It just means the love is no longer there. Then you misinterpret love for a lie when the love is no longer there for you. Divorce laws do not curb love. It just provides a way for lost love to excape what is no longer evident.

true love is allowing the person y ou love to do what makes them happy. I have an open relationship with the man that I LOVE and always will, i am allowed to do what i want, and so is he... I don't beleive that ONE person has all the qualities another person COULD EVER desire. and because of that, none of the jealousy or hate or most of the things that people get divorced over really apply. it is all in ones head on how the handle a situation, if you truly love someone, why not let them do the things that make them happy, as long as they are safe and honest about it. and if one is allowed to do whatever they want, there is no need to lie about anything. lifes good, change your way of thinking perhaps if you think love is a lie
