i say, take a loooong vacation without them - doesn't have to be anything elaborate, stay with family or whatever. when you return, they will have had time to miss you, and might better appreciate you, too.

I agree with the first post. If you are so unhappy, but can't leave, find an outlet with an affair. At least you will know whether the marriage is worth keeping. I had one and it was great. 3 years later I filed for divorce and have never been happier as a single man

My ex and her two kids treated me the same way. I got out and I am better for it. It is obvious that your kids and husband is ungrateful. Get out and give them a reality check. They'll grow up when no one is there to hold their hands

Obviously your spouse turned your kids against you. At this point, you have a choice. You can eitehr A) Grow up and take real charge. Be the adult and put your kids in line and divorce your loser spouse or B) Continue on like you're doing and have resentful kids that'll just make you feel worse and worse as time goes on.
