Are you sure you're over it? Burying it doesn't mean it's not still there. Maybe you and your mom should talk to a therapist together? There's no shame in that, and it could make your relationship much stronger.

I'm the OP. I know it wasn't my fault and what not... I just feel terrible for her situation. It was dealt with back then, I guess she thought it was a one time thing. It never happened after she found out. I feel horrible because she isn't in a good place for this. Ugh.
