I won't judge you on your life choices. I was once young too. I hope you guys make it. Personally I was married at 19 and divorced by 20. I'm just glad we had no children to make it more complicated. On your situation with your parent. You need to grow up and put on your big girl panties. This is life, this is your life and you are about to give life to another being. Quit making excuses. Your family comes first and that family is You, Your Husband and Your Children. Your Mother is no longer part of your "family". She is a big girl, if you continue letting her use you, you will never ever break the cycle. Tell her NO!

^^^^ I too was 19 when I got married.. baby @ 20 and baby@ 23.. I have been married for 13 years so dont write her marriage off just because she's young.. its irrelevant to the topic.

That baby will give you strength like you've never had before. I had a baby at 19-he turned 7 yesterday. he's perfect. I was hooked on crack when i got pregnant, so was his dad- he saved my life, but his dad still "smoked"- seriously. Tell your Mom to shove it- and every time you do, go out and buy your new baby something with the money you saved. Thats what i did and it felt so empowering.
