jealousy is a dangerous thing in a relationship. A relationship without trust is not a relationship. But in return trust is earnt and not just given. I'm betting he has had trust issues in the past with other girls or he doesnt trust himself.

In the same exact boat. That jealousy crap can really get out of control too... then they start showing their insecurities and falsely accuseing you. Havent spoken to my bf in a week now cause he told me to kiss his ass and texted fing goodbye,,, just because I didnt text him back within 20 mins and he has it in his head I must of been doing something wrong during that time. When the truth is I had my phone in my purse in the other room and I didnt hear his text come thru... he does the jealousy thing all the time and reads more into things and blames me if a guy say hi or smiles at me. Im done with his shit! I wont be going back with him like I normally do within a week... hes already texting me daily again. He is in for a Big surprise!! Dont Put Up With It Op... It just gets Worst.. I know!! You are Guilty til Proven Innocent by you and even then he will never believe you cause he likes making you feel like Shit!!!

OP here. Thanks for the comments. It hasn't always been like this, just lately, and it was over really stupid stuff too. Mostly, people goofing off at a wedding and joking with me. We are actually engaged. One girl said to me, "Get up there, you're single!" I told her no, actually, I am engaged. He didn't listen for my response. Just flew off the handle about what she said to me when we got home. We did have a serious talk after I got him calmed down a bit that I will not stand for this kind of jealousy. We have been together for 9 years now and I think I am starting to remember and realize now why it is that we do not go out much together anymore.......I can't stand his jealous streak. Hopefully our talk helped. Only time will tell.....
