3 up, no, the shame is that you're trying to make an argument that shouldn't exist. Firstly, she never said that she was ill or dying, but that she'd had complications in pregnancies beforehand. Her issue now is a tubal. I understand what you are saying, and had she been terminal, yes, it would appear to be selfish, but at the same time very selfless, as she would be passing away but leaving another behind and giving life unselfishly. I'm sure the baby has a dad, you know, it kinda takes 2 to create, but hey, I may be wrong...ass.

Even if your tubes are tied, there is a process called invitro-fertilization that will allow them to implant an embryo directly into your uterus, by passing your blocked tubes. Just hope that your body is strong enough to carry out the process, it may be possible.

I cry everyday because I have no children. Be happy you at least have one.And adopting isn't that easy. Private adoption is tens of thousands of dollars and there are very few healthy white infants available thanks to abortion.
