Thats because in the US alcohol is considered socially acceptable even though drunks usually are more likely to rape, murder, wreck their cars, and overall have poor judgement. Smoking pot makes you eat and not want to leave the house. Of course pot is worse...yeah right.

My son loves to smoke the chron but I tell him you have to do that at home, don't take it with you. He's got caught 3 times with it in his car. I think it should be legal, but what I think doesn't matter, it's illegal.
