There's no doubt that both of you can, and i'm equally sure that you will. Parenthood changes your life for the better, and believe me, there is NOTHING you wouldnt do for, or give up for your child.

then by all means . . . don't get pregnant. use every precaution available. it's not fair to the unborn child to be born with life long complications, and /or live a life with an alcoholic parent. life would be hell.

#3 Youre retarded as a mug. Where are you from? This isnt CandyLand, is it? All kinds of people are alcoholics. Everybody has something holding them down. I grew up with an alcoholic mother. It wasnt hell, it was my life. Its what made me who i am. Take a close look around you. Take a close look at yourself!

I have the same worry. But I want a baby enough to give it a shot. Honestly, I think I can do it. The worst will be the few weeks at the beginning when I don't know I am pregnant. I basically can't avoid that.

It's crazy, you can do some pretty amazing things you never thought you could do when you have a baby on the way. I smoked for 20 years and quit the very day my wife told me she was pregnant. Easiest decision I ever made. You will find that the decision will be made for you and you won't regret a mintute of it. I can now thank my brand new baby girl (a week old today) for giving ME the gift of life because I'm no longer a smoker.

2^ You go, Dad! I still smoke, but never in the car or house. I guess that's a first "baby" step for me. I want to watch my boy graduate one day.

If you don't feel you can then your just not ready to become a parent. becoming responsible for lives other than your own meansw sacrificing things we used to love doing. it's the way it is, most people don't sacrifice shit when they become parent and kids seem to get the shit end of that stick. remember your kids didn't ask to be brought here.
