Most secrets tend to be darker and less happy. I get annoyed when someone confesses on here. They say they feel sick with guilt because they cheated on a wife, or something like that and then all the comments are people calling the OP a dirtbag. I just think it's self defeating if we discourage those secrets. It's kinda the whole point of the website.
