You shouldn't smell afterwards. If you do then you have an infection such as bacterial vaginosis. You can buy a ph kit and test yourself. If your ph level is high then that is a good indicator. You can go to a doctor and get antibiotics, but it tends to come back. I have found that eating a cup of lowfat yogurt everyday and taking lactobacillus supplements has completely corrected the problem for me. Good luck.
