What comes around goes around...and this is why I wouldn't co-sign for anything for my child, even his first apartment. He got the apartment anyway, and 2 months later was evicted for not paying rent, and over a year later, he still owes for the water and power bills. Thankfully I didn't put my name on that mess!

My sister is doing almost the same thing to our mother. Milking her dry pretty much. She doesn't seem to show any remorse for it tho and our mother keeps aiding her. Apologize to your mother, show her you are sorry for your actions and then never let it happen ever again. Some people can be forgiving and some can not. You never know until you try.

yeah, tell your mom what's happening. Tell her how you got in this situation, The TRUTH. If you weren't responsible tell her, if it was just something because of a job loss, tell her. She will respect you if you come to her with the truth. And just might be able to help you figure it out. And regardless of the reason tell her you're sorry, and try to fix it. My mom is gone and I can't say i'm sorry anymore to her for anything.
