The baby may not be affected as bad as you think. My husband's ex stayed high while she was pregnant...I thank God that my step-daughters are healthy and normal. I would turn her in also, she doesn't deserve to be a mother!

I'm glad there are people like you to adopt unfortionate baby's like the one you are talking about. Even if she/he is born with complications, you will be ther to love and nurture. So what? We don't make people take any sort of test or get a license before they get pregnant, the kid is liable to be set on fire after it's here or something. Hood rats everywhere have crack babies, what do you think we should do? Force them to get an abortion? Pro-lifers would really love you! They would rather a child suffer immeasurably for years and years than kill them. What would we do with all the kids that get taken away, but nobody can afford to adopt? What do we do with them now?

That child deserves a chance, studies have shown that babies born on drugs have a higher risk of problems. Some are easily manageable, but not always retarded. Yes, turn that mother in, you just might save 2 lives.
