It is so good to see such postive comments for once on this site. I agree with all of the above. I lost my best friend ever. My brother. Bless all of you!

You probably weren't as bad as you think. Pray for her. Talk to her. She'll hear you.

I agree with ^ about forgiving yourself. I miss my mum as well, and try to live my life in a way that honors her life and the values that she took great efforts to teach me.

Forgiving yourself is #1. The next best thing is to Not put her up on a pedistal. You aren't perfect, but she wasn't either.

You find a women...about the same age as your Mother was..who has NO one in her life..and you bring her LIGHT, JOY, and FRIENDSHIP as best you can. That will balance out the loss you are feeling in honor of you Mum.

I feel the same way about my Grandmother who loved me and helped raise me. I didn't do right by her either. I honor her by thinking of her every day. The first poster has the right idea.

your probably having normal feelings, don't love the guilt. My dad built me..no matter what,i'm always going to miss him.I kinda honor him when i think of some thing i wish i could share with him..tell him. I too wish i could have given him more in life.Like the prior post said, some thing she gave you, some part of you thats good, give it,pass her on,share it with some one else.....could write her a letter...leave it where she would like.

you can pick one thing she was passionate about and start there...forgive yourself thats the first step. She loved you so much no matter what you did or didnt do!

How about doing something she's always wanted you to do: the best in life that you can do. Be the best person you can be.
