Try AA. It's really the only thing that works.

If you truly want to stop you have successfully started your path to soberity. Find your nearest AA meeting and go. They really do work.

So let her leave. Then you can drink all you want and you won't have anyone bugging you about it. Or tell her to mind her own business!

You can't stop because it's the cheapest way to get a buzz. Don't worry, pill poppers with prescriptions are no better.

I tend to drink a lot when I am alone.....if people are around me I don't drink at all or drink very little. I am lucky that I can just turn it off or turn it on. I've done it with Cigs, Drugs (15 yrs of drugs), and booze. I quit drinking once because I just got tired of it. A house full of booze...I didn't drink at all for 2 years. Now I drink again. Maybe I get plastered twice a week...my wife doesn't know. It's my santuary for the time being.
