It will wear off. I made it a point to say I love you to my wife every day for the last 17 years. I told he that no matter what, if she died in a car accident or something bad happened to her I wanted her to know that I loved her. I wanted to know for myself that I had told her I loved her. But I don't care anymore. I must have been kidding myself and hoping for something in return that just didn't exist. Now I just think it, but I don't say it and neither does she. We are just playing games with ourselves. This will happen to you too.

Saying, "I love you." and showing it go hand in hand.
