Being happy is one thing, but throwing all you eggs in one basket and supposing you'll be fine with that for the rest of your life is foolish and immature. Life doesn't work like that so don't pretend it will be like that just for you. Get a grip and always protect yourself.

People used to do this all the time being married 50-75 years. Their secret was if they fell out of love with each other it was their ability to fall in love with each other all over again, not let the little things get in the way.

^ when i settled i was misserable and felt alone lieing next to someone!! just me i'm content and happy, life is sweet between my kids, family and friends and thats enough for me if i can't have my dream!!!! i've seen people live that dream first hand, where even after 50 yrs they light up like the sun piercing the darkness everytime they look at each other, now if i can't have that i sure don't want what you have! but hey i've always been different from the rest of the world! ENJOY YOUR SETTELING!!!!!!!

Sweeet! Hopefully together you two can prosper.Enjoy true love. It's kind of sad so many have passed it by for the dream of material things. They come and they go. Love grows if nurtured.

I would love for this to have been said about me. Good luck, and don't listen to these sad, lonely hearts. They have lost thier faith and are now destined to be lonely forever. True love does exist, and I adore the comment about falling out of love only giving the opportunity to fall back in it all over again.

^3 up I would absolutely be more than willing to settle for happy. You go ahead and settle for miserable and lonely...I guess you cut yourself too? 2 ^ Unfortunately it's not acceptable behavior to super glue yourself to your love interest. Ya gotta do something to keep your mind off things! 3^ If she decides her love's worth by money or material items that's not a love I want. In fact I don't think that is called love. That would be called a job.
