The mom never sees her girl? Are the grandparents involved?

You said you've raised him alone, as in the job is done but then you said "when you grow up" so I'm confused. Is the kid grown and gone or what? And if you don't have at least some kind of other social outlet, when he does leave, you won't know what to do with yourself.

You sound like an amazing father. For your own sake, I do hope you have friends and hobbies. Speaking from experience, when a child grows up they normally develope their own relationships, and interest. They will continue to love you, however are wrapped up in thier own life.

Her mother passed away suddenly years ago. She's almost grown but not quite there yet.

You'll be fine. Some amazing woman will snatch you up and take your mind off your childs life and put it back on you, where it should be. Good Job!

^^That's a very sad story, but it sounds like you're doing great. I wouldn't worry though, I'm sure you'll still see your daughter alot AND you'll find other things in life to help fill that void.

Wow, I can't imagine my life or our son's without his mother in it. I bet you see certain things in your daughter that remind you of her mother when you least expect it, don't you?

I understand completely. My child is the only thing that matters to me in the whole world, too.

Whatever you do, stay out of relationships and just focus on your child. Trust me.
