Life ain't no game. It's a fight, a struggle, always. If you can survive 1 year over there, you've got what it takes to win the fight each and every day. Don't give in, don't give up. And don't pay attention to the BONEHEAD above, he's the one who needs your sympathy/prayer, he's the damaged goods. Brother in Arms

It doesn't take a genius to know that you mean ALOT to at least someone (I'm sure more). It's a fight everyday to find a reason to keep going, but almost everyday you can find it if you look hard enough. I appreciate what you've done and I am glad you made it back.

There are many GREAT men and women that have had your thoughts and feelings... I thank God everyday that my step-dad turned to alcohol rather than killing himself before him and my mother met and married. He has been the BEST dad, and I can proudly say he's been alcohol free for 15 years now!!! Don't give up hope so fast 'cause I'm telling you somewhere, someone needs you to show them the way.

If you are a good man please don't! There is at least 1 good woman looking for you! What I don't understand is what rank has to do with it. It's your life, regardless of how the military thinks it owns your body.

You do MATTER! What ever reason you choose to hold on to living, it is a good reason. Avoiding alcohol, making sure you eat right and sleeping on a regular schedule will allow your mind to return to peace more quickly. Talking to someone is important. Since you felt okay about coming to post your secret on the net, a live chat for soldiers may be a comfortable place to discuss what you are going through http://www.realwarriors.net/livechat Don't forget you matter, you will get through this and you have a life ahead of you that will be worth sticking out these hard times for. ((hugs))

Nothing has gone right in your life?? Lets think about that...you survived a tour! You have many Americans proad of you! You have experiances to share other war vets and civalians...talk...teach others...be there for the others as well. Rank has nothing to do with living..you still need to set the example for the future vets to come! How do you think the sky pilot feels when he wispers with God your never alone... he mumbles a prayer telling them its alright...deep down he knows...back home mothers and children will cry...you have to be strong and over come this feeling..Good luck..May god be your Co Pilot!
