It's better to tell them. If they are your real friend they will not hate you for it. If they feel the same way about you, I would recommend taking it slow and be sure it's a road you want to head down. I made the mistake of rushing into a relationship will a friend and now I can hardly stand to be around her. It sucks to be around someone you love but does not love you back. GL!

Ha! I fell in love with my best friend from middle school (ten years later) and I finally got the nerve to tell him. We're so happy together and neither of us ever imagined we could fall in love so deeply. It's totally great. :) That much happiness is worth the risk. GO FOR IT.

He called me yesterday to tell me he's met the girl of his dreams... and in my head I thought maybe he saw my secret and he's going to tell me he loves me too, but then he said her name was Kalena. I feel silly for crying while I write this because maybe it was his destiny to find her and mine to find someone else. My heart hurts :(
