My toy poodle died this morning in my arms from uterine infection. She was 10 years old. The vet couldn't save her. I hate the loneliness and saddness.

I'm so sorry! I know that pain all too well. My husband and I have had 3 dogs. Two have passed away and our youngest is 12 years old. We love her as much as we love our kids! At least you know that your poodle had a great life with you and that's how we cope with the pain. We know we gave them a wonderful life and GOD knows they were well taken care of.

That's so sad. I can't imagine living without my dog. The thought terrifies me.

So sorry for your loss, sweetie. I've been there. Get another dog right away. Seriously. They won't replace your old friend, but having a new puppy to love and care for is tremendously healing. Trust me on this. Someone gave me that advice when my beloved boston terrier died, and I followed it. I'm glad that I did. Bless you, and your good heart.

Sorry you lost your animal friend. A human friend of mine just lost both their dogs within 3 weeks of each other. Both to cancer....and it only cost them a litte over $6,000.00 in vet bills to try and save their dogs....on IV's, weeks of stay at the vet Kennel....and they died anyways....just really makes me wonder....

Good thing it wasn't a real poodle.

i understand completely how you feel. in the past year i have lost a lot... 4 cats, 1 dog, and my stepbrother (he was only 24!). i don't know how i would have made it through without my animals and my husband! to the a** **** that made the mean comment... when you are around animals your whole life you tend to get attached to them. i have always had animals in my life and i almost killed my a** **** neighbor for threating to KICK my dog! my puppy and my kitten make my day go by better. yesterday was 1 year since my stepbrother died... i would have been down in the dumps all day if it wasn't for them! so until you can get that through your thick skull.... y don't you go get a gun and rid earth of your dumbass!PS... SORRY PEOPLE! HATE PEOPLE THAT DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW FAST YOU CAN GET ATTACHED TO YOUR ANIMALS!

The vet couldn't save her...how many times did the vet tell you that you should have her spayed? Uterine Infection (aka Pyometra) is completely preventable. Spay

^^You are a cold-hearted piece of sh*t! What the hell is the matter with you!! To a lot of people animals are their family and it is very heart breaking to lose them!! With an attitude like yours it would not surprise me if you are homeless. I can't imagine you connecting with that many worthwhile people! You SUCK!!!!
