Why are you afaraid of your cat? More importantly, why/how did you get a restraining order against a cat? I once had a gerbil that was acting very possessive of me but nothing like your situation. This is a f***ed up situation all around! :)

Stay alert. It's been almost 4 years since I left my abuser and I still get nervous in public places, and always sleep with a gun at my bedside. You can never be too careful. Live your life, but keep your eyes open.
