2^Honor is being dishonest for the sake of integrity and respect. Honor is allowing someone else's happiness take president over your own. Honor is thinking about someone else before yourself. It is an honor to point out that only a self centered moron would think honor is your owm happiness no matter what the consequences. Move on OP, you're doing the right thing.

^so it's okay to be dishonest if you think it's for the best? there are a lot of people who believed they were doing someone a favor only to find out later it was a mistake to be dishonest. a relationship takes two people, so why isn't her opinion important too? she has the right to choose either way, and to know his true feelings. lying to someone that you supposedly love that much is not honorable by any means! it's like finding your kids dead goldfish and replacing it without them knowing....yes you may save them some anguish, but you rob them of a real emotional experience that they had the right to at least be aware of so they can process it and learn to grow from it. i hope you and your honor are happy by yourself!

Any of you sappy fools ever consider that maybe the truth isn't what was posted? Or that maybe it is, but that the motivations aren't what you read into it?
