Good for You! I felt the same way with my second child. The second I laid eyes on him nothing else mattered. I know first hand what it feels like to be told "I wish you had been a boy". Loving your chils unconditionally is the most important thing.

I'm glad we had a boy on our 1 and only shot... needed someone to carry on the family name. Nothing but girls in our family!

That is so whats up! I must admit when I found out I was having a girl I was so disappointed. Not to the point I hated her but more fear then anything. Like how am I gonna teach her to be a woman when I'm still trying to be a real one myself. But the second I felt her moving more and more and laid eyes on her I know I was in love! I could not have asked for anything better in the world. I love her more then she will ever know or understand :) Children are blessings.

I felt the same way when I was pregnant. I was fearful to have a boy because...what the heck do you do with a boy? lol. I did end up having a girl. Several of my friends with boys say that it would be wonderful to have girls in the future because they have cuter clothes, style-able hair and they have more empathy. Boys just seem so unrulely. But then again...I don't have one yet. Ask me again after I do! lol

I know how you feel, I always wanted a girl first and when I found out it was a boy I was a little sad, but I am glad I had him first because I wouldn't trade him for the world and I love him with all my heart and soul!
