I remember buying comics for 35 cents back in the 70's as a kid. Now, they are at least $3 a pop, what bullshit! My kid will never get to experience the thrill of buying new comics on payday while working in a grocery store. At least he can see the hundreds of them I bought before I have to hock them to pay for his college education after scholarships...

Yes...a tragedy. I worked for Disney Studios years ago. They treat their employees like crap...finacially and job security wise. Most people are depressed as hell working there. I was bummed to hear this too. They will ruin Marvel.

I'm a 35 year Marvel fan, but I have to say that first, Disney can't do any worse that Marvel's done to itself in the last 15 years. Also, Disney is just buying the profit. I highly doubt they're going to invest any time or actual input into the runnings of Marvel. They're just buying Marvel to be able to cash the profit checks, or cash in on the tax credits for losses.
