You're a compassionate person. Don't let pain over this particular child keep you from doing what you can in the here and now. And do what I do - take every opportunity, even cooking breakfast, to instill a sense of thankfulness in your son.

I understand why the photographer killed himself, he didn't feel he was worthy of the award or life after leaving that poor little boy like that. He could have wrapped him up in a blanket or something.-S

When horrible things happen to children it is pain like no other, I understand how you feel. You cannot feel guilty for something you had no control over though. Do something helpful in your community or even just for your family, it will help :)
