I look at my dog as my child. I would lie, cheat, steal, or kill for my child...I would do the exact same thing for my dog. I can only imagine your feelings as you bury such a friend. You have my deepest sympathies.

Sorry for the loss of your friend. I have a little pug,who is my best buddy, and I know that I will be devastated when the inevitable happens.I have to disagree with the poster two up from me, though. I've been through this same thing before, and truly believe that you should get a new dog right away. They will never take the place of your old friend, but it is tremendously healing to have a new puppy to love.Anyway, just know, that in spite of some of these stupid comments, that there are some people out here who understand.
