I wish my son actually DID have a twin. He has no other siblings or cousins nearby to play with... it breaks my heart sometimes! :(

| I was pregnant with twins, boy and a girl. I lost my little girl, and my son survived. I have always felt something was missing, and sometimes resented my son for surviving when my daughter died. He is 19 years old now, and I thank God for him. The first comment about a mother wishing she had a twin is so true. Be glad they have companionship, but if you continue to feel the way you do, talk to your best friend or family. THEY WILL UNDERSTAND YOUR FEELINGS! Don't feel shame, you'll be amazed at how many people understand when you open up to those who are closest.
