I want to thank you for sharing the tree I enjoyed reding it and is so very true. I always look at it the other way, so thank you. I doubt you can be friends with this person without causing yourself more pain. I wouldn't respond to or acknowledge them.

I did that recently! Msg'd a girl I used to work with about a year ago saying I had been searching for her. I wanted to tell her how much of a D-bag I was for not having the balls take it further. After I msg'd her about all the terrible crap I've gone through she never got back to me. I think I scared her off. I MISS HER

You know, that tree is thought provoking. I see it the other way. Girls often settle for the guys who are the most aggressive (indifferent to rejection and uncaring about what women think about them)because they don't have to do anything, those guys are always around them, and then complain about them insensitive, while if they just gave the slightest bit of encouragement to those more sensitive... (shrug)
