There is a great film on the trains of India - a documentary - their passenger trains are truly remarkable. If you can afford to go to India and ride the trains your wish would be granted.

I like steam engines too. When I was in grammar school in the fifties there were still some in service. They are exiting to watch, no question, but the smoke drove people nuts, and they were labor intensive to maintain.

Steam engines symbolize a time when the USA was strong and solvent, when almost all children of every race lived with their father and mother who were MARRIED, when only low-life people used drugs, and when every American who wanted to work could find a job. That's why I miss them.
