personally I would rather live alone on a beach the desert gets hot in the summer and really cold in the winter unless you in a low desert atmosphere like mexico or something I just prefer the ocean!

I understand how you feel. I'd bring my dog though. She's the only thing that doesn't ever annoy me! Plus I'll have someone to cuddle with. Maybe we can be neighbors, as long as you aren't one of those annoying types who wanna get all up in my Kool-Aid! haha
