OP - I had ancestors who fought on BOTH sides during the war. Nobody truly "won". Although, I would like to see the governor of Texas put his money where his mouth is and let Texas secede from the so-called "Union". I'll never forget when I registered to vote in Texas. For my place of birth I wrote "New York, NY". Some imbecile bubba says to me, "Yew was bawn in Noo Yawk and yew think yer gonna vote heah?" I told him that I was a US citizen, and suggested he look up and see which flag was flying over the post office. What a bunch of f'ing maroons!
