This great guy i recently met came here from across the country for the same reason. Now he is planning to move back home. He really has issues with self-worth and may never see the beauty I see in him... I fear he will fall back into unhealthy living when he returns home but I'm not selfish enough to try to stop him from leaving. *sigh*

Do it! I did something similar and my very soul has been sucked out, dragged through the desert and is now knotted around the cacti that dot the bare landscape. Now I am stuck due to the economy. Agghhh!

we all get in situations we thought would be great...and ended up unhappy. the trick is to get back on course before things get more complicated. you need to be happy to make a relationship work...if your not...then you both will suffer for a long time. good luck

You are obviously not in love with him. Go home today - don't wait, life is short. There is a young man at home that you maybe overlooked. Not as flashy or handsome as your boyfriend, but caring and loving.

Do you love him enough to stay and be miserable or does he love you enough to move home with you?

Tough call. Lots of wisdom in the posts above. Lots to think about. May you find your peace and happiness.

I gave up my life for someone else and moved to another city it sucked hard. It was a drag to see our dreams die but I bailed, went home, married a great girl finally from the internet and am happy. Don't give up who you are for someone else!

It's who your live with that is important .not where you live. Think what life would ne like if you were not living with him.

I was moved here by IBM from Denver where I grew up. I stayed here after my divorice, then met my current wife here. After getting laid off from IBM, I stayed here in part because of my wife and her family. If it wasn't for my wife, I would have returned back home to Denver and been happy. Now I live with a controlling woman in a part of the country I hate.
