It's the strangest thing...I start thinking about someone from years ago, and sure enough, a day or two later I run into them in public. |

| Naw, it's not anything more than your increased awareness. Just like if you purchase a blue BMW, all the sudden, you see your make and model of car everywhere on the streets around you. They didn't unroll a ton more blue BMWs just because you bought one. You're just more aware of it. Ditto the phone ringing when you're in the tub. It doesn't "always ring when you're in the tub." It rings all the time and you're just more aware of it when it comes at an inconvenient time, and thus, you assign more importance to it than actually exists. With the people you're running into, you would have done so either way -- you were in the right place at the right time and the fact you were thinking of them recently isn't terribly unusual. Now, if you sat in a diner and said "Hmmm, Fred from 2 years ago, what's he up to" and THEN he slides into the booth beside you, that's impressive. None of this suggests I'm not sensitive to the collective unconscious or paranormal experiences and such -- I actually believe they occur. But thinking of someone and a day or two later seeing them isn't particularly unusual.
