What is it about being a responsible working grown up that stops you from going to punk shows on the weekends? So now you go camping and bike riding on the weekends to show everyone how responsible you are? Go to a show once in awhile. A lot of punk bands are 30+ w/kids and jobs. They still play the shows.

Its all about the free time to do the things you did when you were a kid. Now, you have a job, family, responsibilities that need to be attended to before.
Yes, being a grown up sucks, but its not so bad. Remember to take care of yourself along with all of your other responsibilities. It makes a better you. Maybe you can't go every weekend, but you could find time for yourself to go once a month or so. Take time to enjoy life.

I am a 55 yr. old female. Successful , very 'normal' looking, and I still go to all of the punk shows. Sometimes the oldest people at the show are me, and the band. I have tickets for Rancid this summer, and never miss a Rancid show. And too many others to name, Warped Tour is a big favorite. ( I even wear my band patch jacket)
