Big word guy here... I'm make a great living as a writer with my extensive vocab. (thanks to my Catholic education). I am quite successful and know how good I am. Maybe you should try writing for a living. Failure is a decision not a accident.

I've learned that people who use bigger words to sound smart don't usually know what's going on. I would hire an average Joe before some erudite bore.

Vocabulary is far more than just big words or any words. It's being able to use them proerly. It's th ability to speak appropriately to any audience whether they are college educated or fifth graders. Erudite bores usually use the word erudite whenever they can.

You say that you're quite sucessful, but in your secret you call yourself a failure. Oxymoron.

No need for the capital letters in the middle of the sentence.

The only thing that I can see that you've failed at is self-love. Discover who you really are. You will find that you love that person and that person is AMAZING!

It's ok, we all compensate in some way or another. And to the commenter who said failure/successful is an oxymoron, failure and success can each be defined in different ways. He probably feels internally that he is a failure, not neccesarily outwardly in a way that society would call failure.
