You are not a loser! Taking care of the children and running the household is a LOT of work.Let your husband do it for a week and see if he doesn't fall out! Every day do a project,,,dusting, laundry,or what ever your home needs that way it won't be so monotonous.
Good Luck.

Sometimes the house work can just F off! Do you spend time with your kids? Are they happy? As long as you don't have bugs or toxic waste laying around then who cares...If your husband was that upset by a cruddy house then he can pitch in and clean it.

your kids will be BETTER children for YOU having been a stay at home mom. They will NOT remember after they've grow up, if the sink was cleaned often, when they were kids. But, they will remember eating watermelon on the porch and spitting the seeds in the garden, after a day of playing in their yard in the wadding pool. MOM blowing huge bubbles, and the dog chasing them and eating them, as fast as she blew them. Dont worry about your house. There will be a time in your life, WHEN your house STAYS perfectly cleaned. (and you'll miss the mess) LOL My kids are in college now, as i LOVE my messy house, when they ALL come home from there perspective corners of the state. Then i clean it all up after they leave, and WAIT for them to return in a few more weeks .)

Men aren't that shallow. If you love the children and help out enough that he doesn't come home exhausted and still has to do more work then you're probably doing fine. Just don't let yourself go physically too much and you'll be fine. All I want in a wife is someone who will keep the house modestly tidy and help out when I need it, maybe make dinner a few times a week. I'm perfectly content being the breadwinner and her not being the perfect 50s housewife.

op here....Thanks for all the great replies. I think I look alright..lol. Our sex life is more than adequate, it's just I feel soo lame. Like I need to be doing more, but idk what else to do??! My husband doesn't care, or at least he says he doesn't but I wonder if thats true or if he is trying to make me happy. My kids are well taken care of, and happy. I just wish I didnt feel this way.

This post could be mine. I feel the same way, but than I think of all the things that I have done like give up my nice paying job, waking up early to get the kids off to school (when I am a night owl and want to sleep in) do the homework, shopping, snacks, bathing, laundry, toilets, cleaning and b jobs. If I leave some stuff laying around the house or dishes in the sink I still have completed more in one day at home than two days at work. We feel this way becuase we are not earning a paycheck, thus we feel like we dont contribute enough.

My post above ^^^ I forgot too add preparing healthy meals every night, picking up kids from school, doing booster club, helping out in school 20-40 hours a month. All the while looking trying to look faboulus and being an amazing mother. This helps him be a super hero dad in the childs eyes.

Being a stay at home mom is THE most important job. It may not seem like it because the work isn't all that complicated but like the lady a couple up says you have more responsibility and get more done in one day than any job. Plus raising the next generation is paramount to humanity.
