I'm the network administrator at work and for the past year or so I've been reading all my coworker's very personal emails for fun. A few weeks ago my company hired a new manager and I can't stop thinking about her. I'm totally in love with her but I'm afraid to ask her out. Not to mention shes my boss. So, last week I started sending her flowers and reading her emails to figure out if she might think they are from me and if I might have a chance. She didn't say anything in emails last week, so I'm trying again.

Man up and ask her out. The worst thing she'll say is No, she's not interested.

Who says this is a man?

So let's say she does end up liking you...what a way to start a relationship! Doomed from the get-go

This is asinine...stop acting like a friggin' stalker and let her know you're interested! Unless of course, it'll cost you your job, and if that's the case, it had better be worth it!

That is soooooo romantic! Scary to know that my emails are open for invasion but romantic none the less.

Nice. A good "how we met" story or a front-page stalker story. Step lightly bro

Forget it. She's outa' your league!
Remove this stupid comment

no thats not romantic! It's invasion of privacy and abusing your position. I understand your feelings. Send her flowers, talk to her, but don't snoop on her, or anyone else for that matter!

Stop snooping you sick f*#! She doesn't want anything to do with you. If you have time getting into other peoples business you don't have a life. So stop snooping and improve yourself, maybe you will have a chance. I f you get caught you might get fired, and thats the best case scenario.

Well first thing you need to do is get your own life, which you don't have otherwise you wouldn't be so interested in everyone else. Then you will have something to offer, but first you have to stop being nosey and stay out of other peoples business!

Aww, you're going to fall in love and get married, and one day you'll be old in your walking chairs, and you'll laugh and say, "you know, before we met, I read your personal e-mails." Then she's gonna leave you, and take the grandkids with her. Ask her out and quit being a stalker.

Can you say staker?? Dude get some help!!! This is not normal

Low life bastard.

While I think this is a despicable invasion of privacy, it is worth noting that this is a very possible reality you have to deal with, and to keep your email at work strictly professional. There are better ways to read a woman, ask her to goto a group activity with other co-workers. That way you can "feel her out" slowly, over time. Love does fade, especially the one-sided fantasy type that you are describing.

Do. Not. Do. This. I guarantee that you will both regret it.

Ask her out, end the spying bit.
