Kids in school are juvenile and only focus on the popularity factor. They don't care about talent unless they can use and abuse you for it later on in life. Don't try to be like "everyone else". Once you hit college, no one cares about all that nonsense ;)

I had a girl tell me she was great at sports, so we played 1-on-1 basketball and I had to quit after 20 minutes because she was CONSTANTLY cheating (traveling, kicking the basketball, pushing off for rebounds, using her finger nails to scratch up the backs of my hands when I was dribbling, etc). Don't overcompensate because of your sexuality or you'll get a negative rep.

I'm saddened to tell you this, but when you grow up, because of your sexuality, you may be the last to be chosen for a job. There are a lot of really stupid people out there.
