Kids want to know more than anything that they are loved. they will test you to the limit to Prove this to them. persistance is key, especially with an unforgiving ex. however, eventually she will be an adult and will make judgments about you for herself, so Keep Trying!!! good luck!

Don't worry... at 19 a period of alienation is normal. Just keep offering her unconditional acceptance. One day, when she needs you, she'll respond.
