Why did you break it off? Was it because of the "stigma" of being with a convict? Everyone deserves love. If you couldn't see past what this person did in the past then it wasn't meant to be. What a person does to you or others NOW, today is what matters. I am sorry you are hurting.

I stayed with my bf while he was in jail for 8 months. Luckily, his time was cut short because of good behavior. If your love is true like ours is, then it wouldn't be a problem to wait for him. Convicts are people too. You don't know everyone's story, so don't assume the worst of people who have that label.

I have a beautiful young woman who accepts me and loves me for who I am, not who I USED to be. Am I the exception....perhaps. But you know what, the only reason people go back to whatever crime that got them blacklisted in the first place, is because of unaccepting people like you. To the parole officer, go f*** yourself buddy, thanks! NICE STATISTICS! I have dealt with your kind of douchebag asshole f*** face type for the past four years not including my two previous(they were actually very helpful and decent). Like yeah, lets get into a program where we should try to help these people, and then just expect them to be f***ups. WHAT DO YOU EXPECT? When people like you continually put people like me down, continually harass, not hire for a job or career, and continually tell us we are f***ing up and are going to f*** up because we have f***ed up. Of course we are going to go back out there and steal, sell drugs, guns, or what have you because that is our ONLY option to survive. Some of my P.O.'s have been awesome to me, they help me back into the workplace, are very supportive of my schooling. I think they may even be apalled by my intelligence. by the way work=force*distance. But that is not the point the point is open your minds up just a wee bit, get to know a little bit about that person, just cause I am a felon doesn't mean I am the dirt that you tread upon. WE ALL SHARE THIS NICE LITTLE SPACESHIP THAT NATURE PROVIDED FOR US. So lets all get along and try to help one another out.Because this is OUR common ground. Just because you want to believe in him doesn't mean that you should believe in him. Almost EVERY one of these guys ends up back in prison. If you were my daughter I would do everything in my power to seperate you from him. Thats how strongly I feel about it. He WILL drag you down with him. Get away from him break it off now. You don't want to start a life with some one that ends up back in prison, and he will. What would you tell your children when dads gone for several years? How can you buy things when he and his pay check might suddenly be gone. There is no good way to build a life with these ex cons.
