this happened to me by "friends" of ten years back in 2005. i finally filed a report that no officer ever followed up on. i just couldn't live with the sure fact that they were doing this to other women and "friends" knowing that i didn't tell the proper authorities. i worry that one day the cops will come looking for me to testify in another woman's rape - or worse, murder case. i used to wish that they just killed me, but now i realize that i must forgive them (work in progress) so that i can stop the hurt and drain of my energy that is wasted every moment spent thinking of them and what they did. i am sorry that you were hurt this way. no one deserves to be treated that way, not even the ones that did this awful deed. may love be with you to keep the fear away always...

I agree with the last poster. You ladys who are victims of rape get to a therapist. It wasn't your fault. To any other girl that this happens to get your butt to the police as soon as you realise what has happened to you.

I was drugged and raped by someone who was employed for over 12 years at my university. He had also been stalking me, but I didn't realize it. I think he videotaped raping me. I came to during the rape and started freaking out and the guy was laughing. I couldn't do anything about it because I was completely paralyzed and couldn't even turn my head. I was like a rag doll. I went to campus police and they wouldn't take my statement. But they took his statement (does that make sense?!) They drove me to a hospital a few towns away and made me wait hours for an exam even though the university has a world-class medical center right on campus. Even though I sounded confused they never tested my blood for drugs and threw away all the samples right away. I was told that there was no dna in my underwear, not even my own. I was still under the influence of whatever drugs he gave me and experienced blackouts for over 24 hours. The Suffolk County police fabricated two statements and forged my name in an attempt to cover it up. They told me that I was not allowed to have copies of the reports and to this day I have not read what they wrote. Stony Brook University is the largest single-site employer on Long Island. The local police and my university covered it up. He was never prosecuted, but thanks to an organization called Security on Campus he no longer works there. Unfortunately he works at a bar/club putting on live music in the village of Port Jefferson. He's in his late 50s and is kind of overweight. He dyes his hair black because he said he wants to look good for his ten year old daughter (!). According to his own accounts, he's walked out on two or three wives and has 5 kids last I heard.
