The longer I live the more I'm with you!! I love my dogs more that almost all of the people I know!! Bless you. Just remember if you end it when your dog is gone - many people will be devestated - even the ones who you think don't care.
Instead keep adopting great dogs and live a long life knowing that you made a difference.

I know exactly how you feel. When my dog I had to face that feeling. But then I got a new puppy who loves me and needs me. It isn't the same, but it's enough.

I look at my ol' dog Bud and wonder what I'll do when his time comes. And it hurts. I don't think I'll do it again. That hurts too.

it's been exactly one year since my dog died and i still don't know how i haven't killed myself. i didn't think i'd make it a week. he was the only stable and dependable being in my life for 14 years. i have no one now and i go to bed hoping i don't wake in the morning. every day i wish i went with him.

If your dog dies, get another one. There's so many homeless dogs that desperately need you or else they'll be killed. You aren't replacing your faithful friend but saving another in his memory.
