Actually dear -- you have EVERY place to go, because you took care of yourself and got an education. You will find your way, and, there will be guides to help you starting with your university. They will have guides and counselors who can assist you.

I had a sorority sister in this exact situation about ten years ago and I am so glad to say her life truly opened up after graduation. You have done the hardest part and as long as you keep your focus, you'll be better off than you can ever imagine. The fear is natural to you because your mom programmed you that way.
