Please never ever have one and manage to live alone. We are struggling like hell right here. If you have to, have a marriage arranged by your church.

Dude, you have to put yourself out there. Swallow your pride and try internet dating, approaching women at coffee shops, the grocery store, bars, wherever they are. I know how scary it is but if you compare it to never loving, which is more scary? The 2nd poster is right, love is VERY painful. Some women are horrible people and unfortunately they are also the ones most likely to not reject you. It's a b**** but worth it. Being in love makes you feel alive. You may have to go through some psycos before finding the right one. I've been nmarried 29 years, yes, we hold hands, cuddle on the couch and still sleep naked holding each other. I can't imagine life without her. Now log off and get out there!

I'm going to suggest the opposite of the above poster...I've found as soon as you stop looking and focus on other things in your life, SLAM....love finds you!

Reading all these post be it negative or positive brings me to this conclusion.
Relationships just aren't for everyone. Some can handle it - some cant, but one thing is for sure NOBODY wants to be ALONE!

You are so young. You have so much living to do. That person will find you, I promise. Now go live your life and live it well.

Im with the last post. Your so young, you have your whole life ahead of you. Don't be so inpatient. Keep in mind, the shape the world is in right now. Don't let yourself be had. Is there something about you that is a handy cap. After going back and reading your post, I thought I would ask. Dover

You and the OP just finished school. You just left the nest. You haven't even found yourself yet. Why do you need the support of another to feel whole? That must be the handy cap that I was referring to. Get a dog. Dover

Who ever said that "it is better to have loved and lost, than to never have loved" was a fool. It's possible, I guess he was just luckier than I. I wish I could give it all back, good, bad, all. I feel so hollow now. -Toga
