As we continue living it is hard to constantly remind yourself of the death that is beyond painful. I can barely go to my mom's grave anymore because it kills me more everytime. I am guilty of forgetting the memorial but never my mom.

That's not entirely true..lots of teens have loving feelings on top of graves..usually during drinking parties..but whatever..

Why don't you "tour" nursing homes instead, I think it's so sad people forget about their loved ones there.

I do this sometimes. I take pictures of the headstones so even after a few years, I have something to remember them by.

I love to tour them as well and I agree it's sad no one cares. I work for a funeral home so it's become a hobby of mine to find the oldest plot in each one I find.
