2up I practically jump at the chance to give a ride when you're in a jam, bring something to you on my way to work, watch someones house when they are away. But when it's expected or assumed, it's just irritating.

1 Up, I agree completely... I am a very loving giving person, but, when it is expected of me to continue doing for you, or you get irritated because for some reason I CANT do it "this time" on YOUR time table.. I'm all DONE being LOVING. giving and nice to said PERSON lol

I think that is why people are annoyed with those on welfare. There is no gratitude for it, no desire to get off the system and pay it forward. Just gimme all the free stuff I can carry and do it now. Same thing with countries we help after a natural disaster or conflict.
