I have it also. It scared me in my twenties. Now that I am in my sixties its not so bad. The concept is internally consistent so you can't use logic to break free. Meditation may help you push it away- good friends, laughter, birds, trees. If you use drugs - stop. Help others less fortunate than you - animal shelter, children . . . .
