You are making him feel ok about it. If you will trade your dignity for things they yes you deserve it.

My first cousin did the same thing. She was never able to have a relationship with a husband because being intimate with a man reminded her of what her father had done to her. She was married three times and all three marriages ended in divorce. Her father lavished gifts on her until he died of a stroke. She accepted all of them. Cars, clothes, stereos etc. Girls do this I guess.

Your not a horrible person but you shouldn't be accepting anything from this person. You are selling yourself by taking the gifts.

I think that a normal father would still give a daughter gifts and you are smart to accept them.

Ask him for a hand gun for Easter, then turn it on him...and smile when you do it...(Oddly, I am a very forgiving person, this is not my normal reaction. Therapy might help you too)

Do this. Continue to take his gifts but keep on his ass about what he did to you. Tell him if he quits giving you things you'll turn him in. Get as much money out of him as you can. This way he'll always be worried and will always try to keep you in things. If you do this a measure of justice will be attained.
