you wont be...you have a fear of commitment, the only reason you love him is because hes safely locked up and out of reach. why not go find some one in the real world to be attached to and love..

ok 20 years in prison means he did something pretty bad. why would you want to be with someone like that. how do you even know he told you the truth about why hes there? were you smart enough to look it up on the offender tracking thing? every state has it. id find somoeone with a good back ground that has been a aprt of society not locked up for so long. a lot has changed in 20 years and that person may not know how to act when out. id end it and get a real man.

he's going to be screwing every woman he sees when he gets out,but he may go to you for a place to stay and the fact that you will be in denial and take care of him too. he's just going to use you.

Look I was a corrections officer. So I speak from years of experiance. He WILL NOT make it outside. If you were my daughter I would tell you to get as far away from this guy as possible. He is nothing but trouble. You are in for nothing but heart break and pain. Thats all these guys ever bring to any one.

Thank you, first commenter. I've just had an epiphany after reading your advice. I'm not the OP btw, just a girl that loves an untouchable man.

Honestly the odds are he won't make it on the outside. He has been in for so long it is all he knows. But, he could beat the odds too. To those of you that trash anyone who has done time, I am guessing by your general blanket statements you have never known anyone who has done time. OP, I personally know 2 people that have done long term sentences. Both are now out and living normal productive lives. The beginning wasn't easy. Adjusting to life outside the prison walls got difficult at times (and not in a need to call the cops way) for them, but they made it one day at a time. Help and support from family and other loved ones is key.

robbery 20 serve 10, perjury 20 serve 10. he was 19. robbery is wrong, but its not rape, child molestation, murder. etc. i read of people killing and getting 10 years, i dont understand.

This may sound like BS, but I love a man in prison too. I have since I was 14 y/o. He has be there 20 years also. Keep thinking positive. You know what you will or won't take. I have hope for you as I have hope for myself, good luck.
